UFO Beer Company

UFO Beer Company embarked on a unique journey with a vision to redefine the very essence of craft beer. The year was 1998, marked by NASA’s return to space with John Glenn and the excitement surrounding the X-Files movie, though they prefer not to mention “Lost in Space.” During a pivotal trip to the Pacific Northwest, they discovered a groundbreaking concept – breweries in that region were introducing patrons to the delights of hazy wheat beer, a novel idea in the world of American craft brewing. It was a revelation, and yet this style had not yet graced the Northeast.

In response to this uncharted territory, they embraced the challenge and created their very first beer with a unique twist, a cloudy hefeweizen known as UFO. The name UFO, short for UnFiltered Offering, not only reflected the beer’s distinctive cloudiness due to yeast retention but also symbolized the extraordinary experience this beer offered to Northeastern craft beer enthusiasts.

As they continued to craft more UFO beers, their inspiration knew no bounds. They drew from diverse influences worldwide, incorporating elements from European beer styles such as Belgian Framboise and German Radler. They also ventured into experimenting with innovative combinations of familiar flavors inspired by the culinary world, exemplified by their Vanilla Coffee Blonde Ale in Winter Blonde.

More than two decades have passed since the introduction of UFO in the Northeast, and the passion and dedication of UFO Beer Company remain unwavering. They continue to be at the forefront of the craft brewing industry, committed to delivering the highest quality beers. Their relentless pursuit of crafting these creations with the finest ingredients and processes ensures that each beer provides a premium experience, marked by approachability, rich flavors, and pure enjoyment.

UFO Beer Company extends its heartfelt gratitude to its dedicated supporters, whose passion and curiosity have fueled this extraordinary journey. Without this unwavering support, their exploration of uncharted brewing territory would never have commenced, and for this, they are eternally thankful.
