In 2004, a group of American craft brewers established a sister brewery to Trumer Brauerei in Salzburg, Austria, in Berkeley, California, allowing U.S. consumers to enjoy Trumer Pils fresh. The Trumer Berkeley team is dedicated to maintaining the original recipe by using the same hops, malt, and proprietary yeast as the Austrian brewery. Over the past 19 years, Trumer Berkeley has garnered 18 gold medals in prestigious beer competitions, making it one of the most awarded pilsners globally. The Sigl family has owned the Austrian brewery since 1775, currently led by eighth-generation owner Josef C. Sigl. Trumer Berkeley proudly represents the Sigl family’s legacy in the U.S. market.
