Adirondack Winery, founded in 2008 by husband-and-wife team Mike and Sasha Pardy, embodies a passionate family affair rooted in the beauty of the Adirondack region. With a love for wine cultivated from a young age, Mike honed his winemaking skills, while Sasha’s entrepreneurial spirit drove them to create a micro-winery that reflects their shared vision. After welcoming their daughter, Ella, the Pardys moved to the Adirondacks to turn their dreams into reality, opening one of the first micro-wineries in the country. From their modest beginnings with a small tasting room, they quickly became a beloved destination for both locals and tourists eager to enjoy their award-winning, handcrafted wines.
As the winery grew, so did the Pardys’ family, with the birth of their son, Ethan, prompting an expansion of both their winemaking operation and the Lake George Tasting Room. This evolution allowed them to accommodate the increasing number of visitors and introduce a rebranding effort that highlighted the stunning local photography featured on their wine labels. Today, Adirondack Winery’s products are available in over 450 wine stores and restaurants throughout Upstate New York, reaching customers in 36 states. The launch of the Adirondack Wine & Food Festival in 2015 further solidified their commitment to promoting local wines and showcasing the region’s charm.
The winery continued to innovate, investing in improved winemaking processes and expanding their facilities, culminating in the opening of a new $2.6 million tasting room in Queensbury in 2022. This state-of-the-art facility enhances the customer experience with wine by the glass, charcuterie offerings, and a variety of events.
